Hi, 안녕하세요,
I’m Anjar
a Product Designer

Before I fully transitioned into design, I spent a year honing my analytical skills as a Digital Marketing professional.

Though my academic background was in Information Systems, I quickly realized my passion lay in solving problems for users. As a Digital Marketer, I was responsible for Social Media Management, running Ads campaigns, and handling WordPress websites. This role was pivotal: it taught me the critical skill of analyzing user behavior from data, especially by overseeing and analyzing ads project data for a program executed across 35+ cities and districts throughout Indonesia. This experience laid the foundation for understanding diverse, large-scale user needs and the importance of a clear, compelling message.

The pandemic became the catalyst for a major career pivot.

I made a bold decision to transition fully into Product Design. Starting from zero foundational knowledge, I embraced a philosophy of "learning by doing" at my first design role. For over two years, I was fortunate to have a dedicated mentor and also completed formal training, allowing me to master the entire design process, from user research to high-fidelity UI design. My most significant achievement was redesigning a comprehensive super-app (which included social media, events, and a shop-based platform) that raised its Play Store rating from 3.8 to 4.4 stars within three months—a direct result of focusing on user pain points and prioritizing user experience.

Looking ahead: My purpose in Product Design.

Product Design, at its core, is about bridging the gap between technology and human understanding. My experience has taught me the value of deep user empathy (gained from analyzing diverse, national-scale project data) and the need for design decisions rooted in measurable results (proven by the app's improved rating). Now, after five years in the field, I’m channeling that passion into content creation, simplifying complex UI/UX concepts for non-tech audiences. Moving forward, I want to continue designing intuitive digital experiences while empowering others to understand and appreciate good design, making the field less intimidating and more inclusive for everyone.
